When I think of all the eyeliners that I've ever used, it becomes kind of confusing to me that I ever used a pencil liner in the first place. Pencils, speaking very subjectively (and frankly), require sharpeners and can crumble when you go to use them (but you can just pop it in the freezer for two minutes to perk up their pliancy). Automatic liners need no such thing and come in a variety of different applicators: brush, stick, felt tipped pen, etc... the list goes on, really..
Today, I want to share my experiences with a very awesome Extra Heavy Black Eyeliner with you guys. I bought it a year and a half ago on a whim, and it's one of the best (and most expensive) drugs store buys that I've ever made! These thing usually expire after a year (yes ew I know I should have trashed it by now) but this one still works quite well! I'm considering buying it again so I can do a video demo for this item, but there's just one problem with that: the store I bought if from is usually out of stock and I can't seem to find it online! I've even visited the original website for this baby and well, it was in straight up Japanese with no options to buy it in English, only Japanese.. So, I guess it's Japanese only (crying on the inside), but I haven't given up! Haha, okay now for the actual review:
The casing is just like pictured above; It's minimalistic for a Japanese packaging motif, but still cute enough to make the viewer excited to try the product. As for the actual liner, it's straight black with a green label, and heart~ The sticker on the side designates what its sorting section is (for Japanese recylcing charts), ingredients, contents, company it's carried by, and it's distribution company. Mine's kind of faded at this point; It just looks like a pen with a cap. So mysterious~ haha.
Hey! Do any of you lovelies know where to purchase this product outside of Japan?? If so, let us know by sending us an email or mentioning us @twitter (cloud9kollektiv). Thanks so much!

Packaging
ApplicationBecause the brush is flat with very fine, thin point, it's perfect for as a base for many different looks. It won't dispense too much liquid, and it doesn't run on your face like a built-in brush pot tends to. Bonus Round!: It takes fifteen seconds to dry and can be applied on top of existing makeup! It can dry out if you don't put the cap on tight, but don't freak out! Just find the cap and place it back on for nine or more hours, it should revert to its original state after that. It's odorless too, so there's nothing to worry about in the ways of an unpleasant odor!
Color..The color is perfect. It's a sleek, deep, true-black color.
DurabilityThe package says that this eyeliner is water-proof. It's not. If your eye even so much as acts like it's about to water, this eyeliner will come off.. But it doesn't smudge. Instead, it turns this prismatic dark green-like color and fades clear. It was weird to see it happen the first time, but also cool because my eyes are very moist, so if I have problems with this liner, I don't have to try as hard to take it off because it's water soluble, and smudge (and flake) free. Regardless of that, please remember that the key to getting the best idea of what a product is like, you have to read at least five detailed reviews! And other than that, It stays on until you take it off, just sayin'.
PriceI paid 17USD for it. It's 1,200JPY. I paid for the shipping?? I don't know, I wasn't really bothered by that, but I will admit that it's pretty steep.
OverallOverall, I want to give this product a 4.5/5. It's not waterproof, simple as that. And, it costs a pretty penny; I mean, I don't really care how much it cost because it was worth it for me, but your experiences may undoubtedly vary.
