Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Underage Red

Okay so this is my first ever liquid lipstick. I was trying to hold off on buying one until Jeffree Star's line took off, but it took like a year and my patience wore extra thin so, I bought this as an interim. It's not bad, in fact I even like the other colors this line comes in, but since I don't frequent sephora anymore, that means I'm gonna have to kiss this line goodbye. But first, a review:

Montagne and Jeunesse Green tea & Ginger Peel-off Masque!

       A couple of months back I received a free sample of Montagne and Jeunesse's skin care masks via influenster. This initial encounter sparked my interest in the other products that this company carries, one thing lead to another and now here I am, wrists deep in transparent yellow goo that promises to keep my skin feeling supple, conditioned, and problem free!

E.L.F. Essential Foundation Brush!

This is my first experience with a foundation brush. I wanted to go for a brand that I already had a history with liking the products, so when I found this brush at a dollar general on a chance, I had to have it! I've been using it for about three weeks, and I've learned that I do not like it at all. But I'm going to let you guys be the decider in this bout, because I don't know the first thing about a foundation brush.

Durability.

       I've washed it about five times already and it still hasn't begun to shed. Not even a little bit. In terms of durability this brush is without a doubt a safe bet because the bristles don't fall too quickly and they won't get misshaped from abuse, but they're almost to stiff to use properly.

Price.

       I paid one dollar for it, but I believe the msrp is something like one dollar on their e-shop as well, so things pan out.

Performance.

Well, here's where the problems ensued for me. Let's have a look at the product description:

Actually, this brush sucked up more makeup than any brush I own and left me with a bit of a streaky finish each time that I used it. I generally found myself going back over this work this a blender and powdering it. One thing I really did like about it was that the bristles were very smooth and didn't stab my face. But the brush felt like a big acrylic paint brush to be honest; I'm sure that there isn't really a difference, except that perhaps I can acheive better coverage with the paint brush (granted I'd pay about six dollars more..)

Packaging.

Voila.

It comes in a transparent, plastic envelope with a paper tucked neatly inside. Not at all intricate.

Overall.

   Overall I'm slapping this product with three stars. It's probably very good to someone else but for me I just don't like it that much. I think that generally, they make very good tools; I'm using their tweezers right now and oh my gosh they're the best! But this brush will just be one of those things that I'm glad I didn't spend like 50 dollars on and ended up hating it.

AMBI Even and Clear Targeted Mark Minimizer!

      Here it is, as promised! Over the past few months, I've been doing a lot of research into what ingredients help visibly reduce the appearance of discoloration of the skin. I wanted to find a product that would work for any skin type and provide prescription strength results in a short period of time; That being said, I was not particularly wooed by many of my prospects. Many creams and moisturizers on the market are capable of providing deep moisture, clinical strength protection, problem area solvent, and good bang for-buck-quantity, but not usually without the mitigated caveats: the ingredients are not good for your skin, they contain additives that are well known comedogenics, can cause skin to develop extreme sun sensitivity, chemically unpleasant smell, etc..

Mitsuba Pour Femme!

      I come bearing product shots that are actually mine this time! haha. They're kind of blurry because I took them with a blackberry. Not the best quality, but I've got some pictures xD I'm not usually a perfume person but this one smells very clean and has a distinct, subtly sweet smell to it~ It's perfect for when I go to work on the weekdays as a mask for the overly forest-y smell of my right guard. I don't remember if I can wear perfume to work, but I guess I'll find out next week, huh?

As for the ingredients:

      SD ETHYL ALCOHOL 39C, DEMINERALIZED WATER, FRAGRANCE; POSSIBLY FD&c YELLOW #6 , D&C RED #33, FD&C BLUE #1.

Because of the possible content of FD&C chemicals, I don't recommend spraying it directly on your skin; I spray it on the front of my unmentionables while they're hanging to dry haha. The smell lasts for about 12 hours; after that it'll will linger on for a bit before you can no longer smell it (which is when you should re-spray it). I think the bottle is a bit heavy for it's contents, but the sturdier the better with fragrances; and the coloring is probably protecting the perfume from reacting with with light!

      I bought mine from a perfume store in a mall, and I haven't found a place where it's available online, yet anyways. But, If you pick it up, tell us what you think of the smell! EDIT: Can be found on google shopping application for $9 USD, which is about how much I paid for it.
