  This review will be dinosaur bones to you guys I'm sure, but it's a sample I received from my beauty bag last year. Pixi Beauty primer has been a very big learning experience for me, for instance I now know that my skin does not take kindly to pearlescent bases for sure! I was excited to try this one because it was peach colored and I was hoping that it'd be a good under eye base, and it was, but there were some thing about it that just didn't appease me:

Color.

      The Pixi beauty primer is a peach toned base that has a pearlescent accent to it that is probably meant to aid in minimizing the appearance of fine lines or bumps on the skin. For me it did do this but, it also magnified the 'shiny' areas on my skin. Not loving it!

Scent.

It doesn't have a bad smell (or a good one?); no scent. I didn't smell a thing anyway, but I'm really glad that it didn't have a scent to it :)

Durability.

Yes, it is long lasting. But, I will say that it kind of depends on your skin type + the foundation that you use. I for one, use liquid foundation with a powder to finish because I have oily skin that is prone to shiny spots. This primer may work better if you have a dry-normal skin type. Be careful using this underneath powder alone, it may cause the powder to appear cake-y.

Price.

For a full size, the price is 29.00USD at Target or Dermstore. I would highly recommend finding and using a sample before moving on to a full size!

Packaging.

      Well if you're working with a sample then you've got a light foil lined packet barely longer than your small finger. Don't worry that's enough for three uses. The full size may not look like much but you should be using more than a pearl size amount on your face really. From looking at it, the full size is in a glass vial with a vacuum pump (my favorite).

Overall.

       3/5 stars. aside from the shine problem this is a product with potential; just be careful about using it if you've got oily skin or more-than-fine lines, because it may settle into these lines and make them appear larger and discolored.
