       A couple of months back I received a free sample of Montagne and Jeunesse's skin care masks via influenster. This initial encounter sparked my interest in the other products that this company carries, one thing lead to another and now here I am, wrists deep in transparent yellow goo that promises to keep my skin feeling supple, conditioned, and problem free!

      While I was out this past week, I was able to pick a pack of these masks up at the store. They come in a two pack box and the instructions are pretty self explanatory, well if you find yourself using a lot of masks that is. I've recently started getting into the habit of doing a facial treatment mid-week with these; a woman at a skin care specialty store recommended doing this at least twice a week, but who's paying for that??? I'm just kidding, these were dirt cheap and the results are phenomenal! Let's take a look:

     Colder weather is officially upon us in the West coast (except California, where it's 52 degrees at night in the summer), and that means a couple of our favorite holidays are growing nearer with each passing day: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and National-Don't-let-Your-Skin-Take-a-Beating-From-the-Cold-Weather Day! If that last one sounded fake, that's because it is; however, the meaning behind this fanciful (and practical) holiday is no laughing matter. In the colder months, many of us experience an allover drying of not only our facial skin, but the skin of our hands, neck and feet. This dryness, conjured up as the body's natural response to the sudden weather change and due in part to the overall lack of humidity, can cause harder to reverse damage to the skin if a long term solution is not sought out.
