FOTD: 20121118 Featuring Admin A!

|

This is our first FOTD so I wanted to start out using some products that have been reviewed by us already! It doesn't look I put on much, right?? Truthfully, a lot of makeup went into this picture (and the other 60 that were taken). As you may have noticed, I didn't bother to tame my eyebrows! Sorry haha. Anyway, let's have a look at all the items used for this look~

EYES:
Black Radiance Shadow Quartet in Desert Clay:
  • 1 on the center of the upper lid; blended.
  • 2 on brow bone.
  • 3 not used.
  • 4 on upper eyelid, brushed into a half-heart shaped with the wider part starting toward the inner part of the eye.
E.l.f. Essential 83 Piece Studio eye Kit:

  • Shade D1 swept across inner part of my lower lid.
  • Shade H8 used as liner for the outer corner of my lower and upper lids.
  • False Lashes bought from C-Tech on Ebay.
FACE:
  • Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream in Deep Sheer tint
  • Lancome 24-hour Teint-Idole Ultra Foundation in 460 Suede:

  • Sephora Mattyfying Powder in D50 (3 indicated in picture below; it broke so I just put it in another container).
  • Mineral Veil by Bare Escentuals (2 indicated below):

LIPS:
  • Beautique lip liner in 714002 Wine
  • Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Certainly Red

    • L'oreal Hi-Intensity Pigments in Flare 404; both shades used as highlighter on the mid-way line of my lip.

Things you may notice right away:

There's a line on the top of my forehead that appears to be a demarcation line. It's not! I've got a dreadful franken-tan from going to Santa Monica Beach this Summer. It's affect my entire body, and I've no hope of it correcting itself until early spring; such is the process of healing for my finicky skin I suppose. Well anyway, I'm completely satisfied with this look; not something I'd wear everyday, as I do prefer a natural finish, but good for when I've got somewhere special to be, like a party of a night out. Most notedly, I'm satisfied with the way that the shadow turned out; I've actually got relatively small eyes that lack a the necessary dimension (a bit on the flat side), so I think the shadow helped give them some definition. Yeah, there are quite a fewother items in my composition that aren't reviewed.. Yet, that is  (including the incentive for you to stick around for those reviews by employing the adverbial phrase 'yet'). That's it! As usual, you consideration and feedback are appreciated, and if you want to know any additional information (i.e. what tools I used or how much was an item, where to get it, etc..) please tweet me @Cloud9Kollektiv. Bye~
